(Houston, TX) – Texans for Lawsuit Reform PAC issued the following statement today announcing its endorsement of the re-election of State Representative Paul Workman in House District 47.
Rep. Workman is a committed conservative and a respected leader in the Texas House. As a business man, Paul understands the importance of lawsuit reform in creating jobs and keeping the Texas economy strong. Even before entering the House, Paul was active in the tort reform movement as a business leader. TLRPAC is proud to endorse him
Rep. Workman was first elected to the Texas House in 2011. He has served as Vice Chairman of the House Select Committee on State & Federal Power & Responsibility and as a member of the Natural Resources and Insurance Committees. Rep. Workman also serves by appointment on the Energy Council and on the Select Committee on Transportation Planning.
Paul and his wife Sherry have two children, and six grandchildren. They currently attend and serve at Pedernales River Fellowship in Spicewood.
House District 47 is in western and southern Travis County.
