(Austin, TX) – Texans for Lawsuit Reform PAC issued the following statement today announcing its endorsement of the re-election of State Representative Dan Huberty in House District 127.

“State Rep. Dan Huberty is a committed conservative and a respected and influential Member of the Texas House. As a businessman, Rep. Huberty understands the importance of lawsuit reform in creating jobs and keeping the Texas economy strong while insuring that our civil justice system is balanced and fair. During his three terms in the Texas Legislature, Rep. Huberty has demonstrated both leadership and policy expertise. TLRPAC is proud to endorse him.”

First elected in 2010, Rep. Huberty serves on the State Affairs Committee as well as on the Public Education and Calendars committees. He is a consultant who works with both large corporations and small companies to improve their sales processes. His expertise has allowed him to consult across a variety of sectors, from oil and gas to local real estate. He is the former Executive Vice President for SP Plus Corporation and has also served as a Vice President for a natural gas fueling company.

Active in his community, Rep. Huberty is a board member of the Lake Houston Area Chamber of Commerce. He also works closely with the Kingwood Chamber of Commerce and the Crosby-Huffman Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Humble Intercontinental Rotary Club.

Dan and his wife Janet live in Walden on Lake Houston with their three children, Brianna, Ryan and Dylan. They are active parishioners at Saint Martha’s Catholic Church. House District 127 is in Harris County.
