(Houston, TX) – Texans for Lawsuit Reform PAC issued the following statement today announcing its endorsement of the re-election of State Representative Charlie Geren in House District 99.
TLRPAC proudly endorses Chairman Charlie Geren, a committed conservative and a respected leader in the Texas House. As a businessman he understands the importance of lawsuit reforms in creating jobs and keeping the Texas economy strong. In his long career as a Member of the Texas House, Chairman Geren has consistently supported the civil justice reforms advocated by TLR and the Texas business community – reforms that have played a critical role in the Texas economy, which has long led our nation in job creation.
Rep. Geren was first elected to the Texas House in 2000. He currently serves as Chairman of the House Committee on Administration and is also a member of the State Affairs Committee, the Calendars Committee, and the Licensing & Administrative Procedures Committee. Rep. Geren is a longtime champion on water and agriculture issues in Texas.
Rep. Geren currently resides in Fort Worth where he is actively involved in his community. House District 99 is in Tarrant County.
