TLRPAC Endorses Sarah Sagredo-Hammond for HD 41

AUSTIN, TX—Texans for Lawsuit Reform PAC (TLRPAC) today announced its endorsement of Sarah Sagredo-Hammond for the Texas House of Representatives (HD 41).

“TLRPAC is proud to stand behind Sarah Sagredo-Hammond—mom, community leader and owner of a family business that has served South Texas for more than 40 years,” TLR President Lee Parsley said on behalf of TLRPAC. “Sarah has seen firsthand the dire impact of lawsuit abuse on a community, from skyrocketing insurance premiums that force small businesses to shutter to the hidden ‘lawsuit tax’ that is baked into goods and services and burdens hardworking Texas families. In the Texas House, Sarah will continue fighting for the needs of the Rio Grande Valley.”

“Small businesses are the heart of a community, but excessive litigation is bleeding them dry,” said Sagredo-Hammond. “With TLR’s support, I will work to end lawsuit abuse, cut costs for families and empower small businesses to keep Texas the leading state for job growth and innovation.”

Sagredo-Hammond is president of Alton-based Atlas Electric and Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Plumbing Services.

TLRPAC is the political arm of Texans for Lawsuit Reform (TLR), the largest civil justice reform organization in Texas. TLR’s mission is to foster freedom, innovation, and job creation by advocating for a fair, efficient and predictable civil justice system led by competent and independent judges who apply the constitution and laws as written.
