AUSTIN, TX—Texans for Lawsuit Reform PAC (TLRPAC) today announced its endorsement of Rep. Ryan Guillen for re-election in House District (HD) 31, which includes Brooks, Duval, Jim Hogg, Karnes, Kenedy, La Salle, Live Oak, McMullen, Starr, Wilson and Zapata Counties.
“A sixth-generation South Texas rancher and small businessman, Ryan Guillen has proven over his legislative career that he is committed to preserving a fair, transparent legal system – one that delivers fair outcomes for all Texans,” TLR President Lee Parsley said on behalf of TLRPAC. “One of the youngest members ever elected to the Texas Legislature in 2003, Ryan has served in the Texas House of Representatives for over two decades. He is a staunch advocate for the values of his South Texas constituents. TLRPAC is proud to support him.”
“I am honored to have Texans for Lawsuit Reform’s (TLR) endorsement,” said Guillen. “TLR has helped pass some of the most comprehensive job-creating lawsuit reforms in the nation, which have helped maintain Texas’s position as an energy leader, and as the greatest state in the nation to form and grow a business.”
Guillen was named “Legislator of the Year,” “Best of the House,” and “Champion” over a dozen times by numerous statewide organizations. No other member has passed more legislation out of the Texas House in a single session in history.
TLRPAC is the political arm of Texans for Lawsuit Reform (TLR), the largest civil justice reform organization in Texas. TLR’s mission is to foster freedom, innovation, and job creation by advocating for a fair, efficient and predictable civil justice system led by competent and independent judges who apply the constitution and laws as written.
