(Houston, TX) Texans for Lawsuit Reform PAC issued the following statement today announcing its endorsement of the re-election of State Representative DeWayne Burns in House District 58.

Rep. Burns is a principled and hardworking legislator and TLRPAC is proud to endorse him. As a businessman, Rep. Burns understands the importance of lawsuit reform in creating jobs and keeping the Texas economy strong.

Rep. Burns was first elected to the Texas House in 2014. He is a property and business investment manager. He also served in the Texas Department of Agriculture as the Coordinator for Special Issues in Intergovernmental Affairs. He serves on the Texas House Homeland Security and Public Safety Committee and the Natural Resources Committee.

Rep. Burns and his wife Jennifer live in Cleburne with their three children. They are active within their community and are members at First Baptist Church of Cleburne.

House District 58 includes Bosque and Johnson Counties.
