TLRPAC Endorses Mike Wallach for Reelection to Second Court of Appeals

AUSTIN—Texans for Lawsuit Reform PAC (TLRPAC) today endorsed Justice Mike Wallach of Colleyville for reelection to Place 6 on the Second Court of Appeals, which serves Tarrant, Denton, Parker, Hood, Wichita, Cooke, Jack, Wise, Young, Clay, Archer and Montague counties.

“Each election cycle, TLRPAC supports judicial candidates who respect the rule of law and understand the importance of a fair and efficient legal system in our state,” TLRPAC General Counsel Lee Parsley said. “Justice Mike Wallach has more than 35 years of trial experience as an attorney, district court judge and justice on the Second Court of Appeals. His in-depth knowledge of the workings of our state’s legal and appellate court systems are critical assets to the Second Court. Justice Wallach was appointed by Gov. Greg Abbott to the Second Court of Appeals in 2019. Prior to this, he served as judge of the 348th District Court in Tarrant County. He previously practiced law at Shannon, Gracey, Ratliff & Miller and Wallach & Andrews, P.C. Justice Wallach received a bachelor’s degree magna cum laude from Texas Christian University and a law degree cum laude from the University of Houston. He is board certified in Personal Injury Trial Law and is a Certified Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.

Justice Wallach is a past president of the Texas Association of Defense Counsel, a member of the State Bar of Texas and Tarrant County Bar Association and a Judicial Fellow of the International Association of Defense Counsel. He was named a Texas Super Lawyer from 2003-2016 and recognized by Fort Worth Magazine as a Top Attorney.
