TLRPAC Endorses Mano DeAyala for Re-Election in HD 133

AUSTIN, TX—Texans for Lawsuit Reform PAC (TLRPAC) today announced its endorsement of Rep. Mano DeAyala for re-election in House District (HD) 133.

“Mano DeAyala is an accomplished civil litigator whose background gives him a deep understanding of our legal system,” TLR President Lee Parsley said on behalf of TLRPAC. “During his time in the Texas Legislature, he has worked to prioritize commonsense lawsuit reforms that support Texas’s economic foundation, for both families and job creators. TLRPAC is proud to support him.”

“It’s an honor to be endorsed by Texans for Lawsuit Reform, a trusted voice for conservative leadership. I share TLR’s commitment to ending abusive lawsuits that hurt Texas families and businesses, and I’m committed to preserving the reforms that keep our economy strong and competitive,” said DeAyala.

DeAyala is a senior partner of Buck Keenan LLP, where he serves as counsel to individuals and companies in various industries. Notably, he achieved the highest possible peer rating, AV Preeminent, by Martindale-Hubbell, for professional and ethical excellence by his peers.

Before he was elected to the House, DeAyala was called by both President Trump and Governor Abbott to serve. In 2017, Governor Abbott appointed Mano to the Texas Board of Criminal Justice. In 2019, The United States Trade Representative appointed Mano as an arbitrator to adjudicate trade disputes under the United States-Mexico-Canada Trade Agreement. He served as Board Member and Chairman of the Hispanic Republicans of Texas. In 2020, he served as pro bono election integrity counsel for the Harris County Republican Party.

TLRPAC is the political arm of Texans for Lawsuit Reform (TLR), the largest civil justice reform organization in Texas. TLR’s mission is to foster freedom, innovation, and job creation by advocating for a fair, efficient and predictable civil justice system led by competent and independent judges who apply the constitution and laws as written.
