AUSTIN—Texans for Lawsuit Reform PAC (TLRPAC) today endorsed Judge Kristin M. Guiney of Houston for Place 8 on the First Court of Appeals, which covers Harris County and nine surrounding counties.
“Texas judges make critical decisions every day that impact our families and our freedoms, particularly on our intermediate appellate courts, which are often the last stop for some of the most consequential decisions affecting our state,” TLRPAC General Counsel Lee Parsley said. “Judge Kristin Guiney is a committed public servant who believes deeply in the rule of law. She has demonstrated fairness and efficiency throughout her time on the bench. TLRPAC is proud to endorse her.”

In her 22-year career, she has tried more than 90 cases to verdict as lead counsel.
Guiney received a bachelor’s degree from Emory University and a law degree from the University of Houston Law Center. She is board certified in criminal law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
