AUSTIN—Texans for Lawsuit Reform PAC (TLRPAC) today endorsed John McQueeney for election in the Republican Primary runoff for House District 97, which covers part of Tarrant County.

McQueeney received a bachelor’s degree from Texas Christian University. His professional career began at RadioShack Corp., where he managed expansion strategies across the U.S. and Canada. After leaving RadioShack, he entered entrepreneurship, owning McDonald’s restaurants in San Antonio to Fort Worth. In 2018, he diversified into the logistics sector as a contractor with FedEx, growing a fleet from four to 50 trucks. Recently, McQueeney acquired a Chicken Express in Cypress and became an advisory director at Austin County State Bank in Bellville.
