TLRPAC Endorses Jay Hardaway for HD 71

TLRPAC Endorses Jay Hardaway for HD 71

Texans for Lawsuit Reform PAC (TLRPAC) today announced its endorsement of Jay Hardaway for the Texas House of Representatives (HD 71).

“I’m honored to have TLR’s support,” said Hardaway. “West Texans know I’ll bring my experience in business and public service to the fight to end lawsuit abuse. To preserve the Texas Miracle and protect jobs, we must end runaway lawsuit abuse. If elected, I’ll be ready to get to work on day one.”

“TLRPAC is proud to support Jay Hardaway. A West Texas native and family businessman, Jay has a deep history of grassroots leadership and public service at the local, state and federal levels,” TLR President Lee Parsley said on behalf of TLRPAC. “He not only brings experience working in senior positions for elected officials but also in serving an elected office as a member of the Abilene City Council. Jay recognizes the importance of a fair civil justice system for all Texans—and we believe he will deliver conservative victories for his community on day one.”

Hardaway is an Abilene native who graduated from Abilene Christian High School and McMurry University. He has worked in myriad positions in both the public and private sectors and has served in many civic, nonprofit and philanthropic efforts in West Texas.

Hardaway currently divides time working for his family business in Albany and a position at Hendrick Health. Hardaway and his wife Lindsay, also a native of the Big Country, share four children.

Among other priorities, Hardaway’s campaign is committed to delivering permanent tax cuts to protect hardworking families, securing the Texas border, keeping politics out of children’s classrooms and maintaining Texas’s status as the greatest state in the nation to live, work and raise a family.

TLRPAC is the political arm of Texans for Lawsuit Reform (TLR), the largest civil justice reform organization in Texas. TLR’s mission is to foster freedom, innovation, and job creation by advocating for a fair, efficient and predictable civil justice system led by competent and independent judges who apply the constitution and laws as written.
