(Houston, TX) – Texans for Lawsuit Reform PAC today endorsed Jay Dean for State Representative in House District 7.
As a businessman and community leader, Jay Dean understands the importance of lawsuit reform in creating jobs and keeping the Texas economy strong. He has a proven record of conservative leadership and we are confident he will be a strong and productive member of the Texas House.
Jay Dean served as mayor of Longview from 2005 to 2015. During his tenure, he focused on creating job opportunities, bolstering the local economy, and implementing conservative principles in municipal management. Dean and his wife, Pokie have been married for 36 years. They have three daughters and four grandchildren. They live in Longview, where they are founding members of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church.
House District 7 includes Gregg and Upshur Counties.
