AUSTIN, TX—Texans for Lawsuit Reform PAC (TLRPAC) today announced its endorsement of Rep. Helen Kerwin for re-election in House District (HD) 58.
“A proud grandmother of nine, Helen Kerwin is a conservative fighter with a decades-long record of service, including experience as a small business owner and entrepreneur, mayor of Glen Rose and the first Republican Somervell County Commissioner,” TLR President Lee Parsley said on behalf of TLRPAC. “Helen’s first legislative session underscored her effectiveness, and proved she understands that keeping Texas’s economy strong means reining in the abusive lawsuits that increase costs for families and businesses alike. TLRPAC is proud to support her.”
“Protecting the conservative Texas values that make our state remarkable is my top priority,” said Kerwin. “I am pleased to have the support of Texans for Lawsuit Reform, and I look forward to continuing the fight to keep Texas affordable for every family by helping to put an end to excessive and frivolous litigation.”
TLRPAC is the political arm of Texans for Lawsuit Reform (TLR), the largest civil justice reform organization in Texas. TLR’s mission is to foster freedom, innovation, and job creation by advocating for a fair, efficient and predictable civil justice system led by competent and independent judges who apply the constitution and laws as written.
