Texans for Lawsuit Reform PAC (TLRPAC) today endorsed Representative David Cook for election in Senate District 22, which represents the counties of Bosque, Comanche, Eastland, Erath, Falls, Hamilton, Hill, Hood, McLennan and Somervell, as well as parts of Ellis and Tarrant counties.
“TLRPAC supports candidates who are committed to keeping Texas’s economy flourishing, which chiefly includes maintaining a legal system that is fair, efficient and transparent,” TLR President Lee Parsley said on behalf of TLRPAC. “Currently serving his third term representing House District 96, former mayor and businessman David Cook has in-depth knowledge of the challenges and opportunities facing the district, and will deliver results on day one. TLRPAC is proud to support him.”
Cook has represented House District 96 since 2021. He is Managing Partner of Harris Cook L.L.P. and previously served as the Mayor of the City of Mansfield from 2008 to 2021. Cook and his wife, Tonya, are longtime residents of Mansfield and are the parents of four children and grandparents of six (soon to be seven) grandchildren.
TLRPAC is the political arm of Texans for Lawsuit Reform (TLR), the largest civil justice reform organization in Texas.
