AUSTIN, TX—Texans for Lawsuit Reform PAC (TLRPAC) today endorsed Rep. Carl Tepper for re-election in House District (HD) 84, which includes part of Lubbock.
“Carl Tepper is a champion for meaningful lawsuit reform in Texas, and his continued support for a fair and efficient civil justice system is helping protect job growth throughout the state,” TLR President Lee Parsley said on behalf of TLRPAC. “Carl has seen first-hand the costs of an abusive litigation environment to Texas families, and we can trust Carl to be a strong advocate for small businesses and consumers alike in Texas. TLRPAC is proud to support him.”
“TLR is a guardian of job growth and innovation in Texas, and its tireless work to restore Texas’s civil justice system is fueling the Texas Miracle. Texas is known for its business excellence, and protecting the markets here is a priority for me,” said Tepper.
Tepper sits on eight committees in the Texas House of Representatives and is Chairman of the Subcommittee on State-Federal Relations. He is an Air Force veteran, where he served as a military flyer and was awarded the Air Medal for actions during the Persian Gulf War.
TLRPAC is the political arm of Texans for Lawsuit Reform (TLR), the largest civil justice reform organization in Texas. TLR’s mission is to foster freedom, innovation, and job creation by advocating for a fair, efficient and predictable civil justice system led by competent and independent judges who apply the constitution and laws as written.
