AUSTIN – Texans for Lawsuit Reform PAC (TLRPAC) today endorsed Judge Josh Burgess of Fort Worth in his campaign for the 352nd District Court in Tarrant County.
“Each election cycle, TLRPAC supports judicial candidates who understand the importance of a fair, efficient and honest legal system to Texas families and businesses,” TLRPAC Chairman Richard J. Trabulsi Jr. said. “Josh Burgess’ experience, lifetime of public service and commitment to upholding the integrity of our legal system make him the best candidate to serve in on the 352nd District Court.”
Burgess was appointed by Gov. Greg Abbott to the 352nd District Court in August. He is a former assistant U.S. attorney and served as an Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force prosecutor. He also previously served as an assistant staff judge advocate in the U.S. Air Force. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and a mock trial coach at Covenant Classical School. He is also a member of the Tarrant County Bar Association and the Federalist Society. Burgess was honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force with the rank of major, and received a bachelor’s degree from Biola University and a law degree from the Washington and Lee School of Law.
