(Houston, TX) Texans for Lawsuit Reform Political Action Committee has endorsed Wayne Christian for Texas Railroad Commissioner in the Republican Run-Off. The election will be held on May 24. Early voting is from May 16-20, 2016.

Wayne Christian was a champion of lawsuit reform in the Texas Legislature and we believe his commitment to a fair civil justice system as well as his experience as a legislator will be important assets on the Railroad Commission. Wayne served as Vice Chair of the Regulated Industries Committee during his tenure in the Texas House and he was a member of the Energy Resources committee. Wayne is a principled conservative and a lifelong businessman with a career in financial services. We believe Wayne will serve the people of Texas well on the Texas Railroad Commission.

Wayne was first elected to the Texas House in 1997 where he served until 2013. Before entering business he had a successful music career and was nominated for a Grammy Award in 1979. He holds a BBA in General Business from Stephen F. Austin University.

Wayne and his wife Lisa have been married for over 40 years and have three daughters. They live in Center, where they are members of the First Baptist Church.
