Texans for Lawsuit Reform PAC (TLRPAC) today announced its endorsement of Fred Tate for the Texas House of Representatives (HD 98).
“TLRPAC is proud to support Fred Tate: a longtime Republican grassroots leader, successful small businessman and a three-time Senate-confirmed appointee of Governor Greg Abbott,” TLR President Lee Parsley said on behalf of TLRPAC. “Fred has been a leader in the Republican Party and for conservative causes since his college days at Baylor where he helped elect George W. Bush as Governor. He has gone on to serve as Treasurer of the Republican Party of Texas and Tarrant County GOP and served as State Chairman of Young Conservatives of Texas. Governor Abbott trusted Fred with appointments to three critical statewide commissions: the Judicial Compensation Commission, State Commission on Judicial Conduct and the Trinity River Authority.
“Fred is committed to keeping the Texas economy strong, and we appreciate his dedication to a highly qualified, rule-of-law judiciary. He will deliver results on day one.”
Tate is the founder of CFO Shield, which serves over 100 small businesses with growth-focused financial strategies, and Red Elephant Reports, which provides compliance and financial support to conservative campaigns nationwide. Before starting his businesses, Tate spent nearly two decades in corporate America, managing multi-million-dollar budgets and producing award-winning results.
Tate and his wife Jill, the slated president of the Texas Federation of Republican Women, have been married for 21 years and live in Colleyville with their son Sawyer. They attend White’s Chapel Church and are active with local charities and organizations such as Patriot PAWS Service Dogs, the Colleyville Lions Club, GRACE Grapevine, Ranch Hands Rescue and Bob’s House of Hope and the Justice Center.
TLRPAC is the political arm of Texans for Lawsuit Reform (TLR), the largest civil justice reform organization in Texas. TLR’s mission is to foster freedom, innovation, and job creation by advocating for a fair, efficient and predictable civil justice system led by competent and independent judges who apply the constitution and laws as written.
